What should I be taking with Teasel?

Postby Patti » Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:51 pm

I've been ill quite a few years and it was just in December of 2009 that I finally was told it was Lyme. I was on loads of medications from my LLMD but my system will not tolerate those oral drugs and my insurance refuses to pay for IV drugs. I've been on Teasel about a month I think. I am also taking grapefruit seed extract, fish oil, garlic, probiotic. Anything else I should be taking?
I finally decided this is going to kill me if I don't take matters in my own hands plus my husband was just told he is losing his job, there are no jobs out here. So, I can't afford to pay the LLMD out of pocket anymore.
I'm pretty much bedridden and it constantly feels like an earthquake my head, like brain is being shaken. Not a pleasant feeling.
Each night I pray that the morning will bring improvement. thank you for any help you can offer.

Hi Patti,
One VERY powerful protocol which is a mainstay for me is Salt&C. Check out: lymestrategies@yahoogroups.com
They have all the info in their files as to how to do it safely, properly. Another good group is: Lyme_and_Rife@yahoogroups.com, drloyd@yahoogroups.com, and DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO@yahoogroups.com.
Each of us has a different blend of Lyme&Co, so we end up becoming very savvy lab-rats, always trying things cautiously after watching how others are doing, ramping up slowly, checking in with others who may have more experience.

I'd had Lyme for 40+ years and had Rifed for about a year when I learned about Salt&C and slowly ramped up as recommended. Now that I make my own salt capsules, it's a pretty inexpensive protocol, as C isn't as pricey as a lot of other supplements.

And take heart. There are lots of us recovering who have never had access to to a good LLMD. If you can do your homework and read the many good groups, you can get a lot of valid info. Just about everything I'm doing to recover I learned from these many good folks.

Now, with Rife and S&C as my primary protocols, I'm back, from being bed-ridden and wanting to die, to feeling about 90% and enthusiastically planning what I want to do with the rest of my life.

Be well,
Léna

I did a search for lymestrategies@yahoogroups.com and there is no such group and I tried sending an email, it came back. I didn't join the rife group because i am not able to afford that. What is Salt&C?

Hi, Patti:

I am a BIG teasel fan! Have my whole family on it right now. I basically took teasel with GSE and just my normal kinds of sups like my hormones, SamE, Vit D, Vit C, Vit B's, DLPA, GABA etc. I really didn't take anything special. It seems to really do its own thing. I took things to help with specific things, like the GABA to sleep, the SamE to make me happier in the head etc. Take what works for you.

Glad you are with us!

Hi Patti,

French Green Clay from www.mountainroseherbs.com may be helpful to you for binding to toxins in your GI tract.

1-2 teaspoons soaked in a glass of water for eight or more hours and then drunk down on an empty stomach.

There are many ways to detox but I mention this one supplement because its cheap.

Also, coffee enemas are excellent for clearing toxic bile from the liver and gallbladder.

Hi Patti,
Welcome to our group! :D
I agree with everyone, there are many inexpensive things to work on for now. Sounds like you have a good regimen. If after a while it doesn't work, I would seriously consider adding in the salt/c. I'm not sure if anyone does salt/c and teasel together?
Anyway, it's cheap. Make your own salt capsules, or drink it down with water. I really like Nutribiotic Sodium Ascorbate Powder (vitamin C). It's very pure, no fillers, no GMO's. It's buffered to pH of 7.1 so it's easy on the stomach and bowels -and the price is right.
The yahoo groups should be free. Was it just Dr. Loyd's that had a price?

Thane, I didn't realize the clay should soak for several hours. I have some red clay. I'd imagine it's the same?

Hi Patti,
The group is:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/lymestrategies/
Sorry I misdirected you.
They'll explain the whole reason why Salt and C work so well against Lyme. They also discuss other protocols and are very friendly and helpful. There are many people who don't Rife but mainly do S&C. Now, I'm finding that teasel is good at getting the hide-outs that may have escaped other killing.
Another low-cost killing protocol is MMS. That site is: http://jimhumble.com/
MMS can eradicate malaria in a very short time. It's and oxidant the blasts the pathogens, literally vaporizes them, apparently. As C is an anti-oxidant, they must be taken 2 hours away from each other. Over at Lme_and_Rife, there are a lot of people who use it and it really helps reduce the pathogen load.

All these things only do half the job in Lyme recovery, however. The other half is conscientious detox, to help get the toxins from die-off out of the system. All killing protocols need to be done slowly, ramping up dosages up gradually so as not to overwhelm the body's detox pathways, which can be damaging and counter-productive.

Hope this helps.

Be well,
Léna
