Nettles and Teasel while breastfeeding?

Postby Thane » Mon Jul 05, 2010 8:43 pm

Lady B, Do you know whether these two herbs can be used with a breastfeeding mother who may have lyme and/or weak adrenals?

Thanks

I've heard from some breastfeeding mamas who took Teasel while nursing to be sure their babies got it through them, so I would say yes, but cautiously. (as we do with all pregnancy/breastfeeding questions)

Nettle infusion is NOURISHING. It actually increases breast milk and deeply nourishes mama and baby.
